Dubach To Race &squot;Vet&squot; Championship At USGP
Norco, CA. (May 25, 2010) -- Doug Dubach, Dubach Racing Development (DR.D) owner, is confirmed and ready to race the USGP at Glen Helen. The former Factory Yamaha racer, Supercross winner, 17x Vet World Champion returns to the GP roots that helped launch his career some 25 years ago.
"When I was first approached about racing this event, it seemed like it would be a walk in the park. However, everyday more fast riders keep signing up and Im forced to go out and ride longer motos," joked Doug Dubach. "Our starting gate will look like the Hangtown National from years ago. Dowd, Mataisevich, Ty Davis, plus former Champions Darryl King, Chuck Sun and Kurt Nicoll, are all still blazing fast. Mats Nilsson, from Sweden, last year&squot;s FIM Vet Champ is on a tear again and has not lost a moto all year so Im sure he&squot;ll be on fire."
Dubach&squot;s family, friends, and his employees will be stationed throughout the track cheering on the #15 Yamaha YZ450F racer, dad, and DR.D boss.
